Revisiting the origin of Charro Days, The Mr. Amigo Association is proud to present a real and authentic "Charro", for the grand event that bears the name, as the 2009 Mr. Amigo nominee.

Joining only a select few, past Mr. Amigo candidates including his father, Vicente Fernandez Jr. "El Mayor de Los Potrillos" (The Oldest of the Colts) becomes only of a handful of real .Charros. to be nominated as Mr. Amigo.

He was born amongst nature and horses. The agave plants watched him grow. Vicente Jr. is the eldest of three sons born to Mexican living legend and one of the most recognizable and influential cultural icons in Mexico, Vicente Fernandez. Vicente Jr., by birth right, claimed the The Eldest of the Colts (El Mayor de los Potrillos), as Dad would lovingly refer to him and his two brothers.
